Laoma Atelier Size Guide
Since each piece of Laoma Atelier jewelry is handcrafted to order, it's important to select the right size. This page includes sizing information for rings as well as bracelets, anklets, belly chains, and necklaces.
RING SIZING GUIDE
Finding Your Size:
- Ring Sizer: Using a ring sizer is the most straightforward method
- Measure an Existing Ring: Measure the inner diameter of a ring that fits well and consult our size chart.
- Measure Your Finger: Wrap a piece of paper or thread around your finger, mark where it overlaps, then measure the length in millimeters – this is the circumference. Use the circumference to find your ring size using our chart.
Tips for Best Fit:
- Time of Day: For the most accurate ring fit, measure your fingers later in the day when they are warm, as they can expand with heat and be smaller in the morning or in cold weather.
- Ring Width: Keep in mind, the width of the ring impacts sizing; thin rings fit true to size, while wider rings may require a larger size.
- Unsure? If you're uncertain about your ring size, opting for one size larger can be a safe choice.
RING SIZE CHART
- Starts from finger circumference 38 for fingertips (midi) rings.
BRACELET SIZING
If you are unsure about your bracelet size, you can use either a piece of paper, a thread or a measuring tape and put it around your wrist to measure the circumference in mm.
You can add a little bit so the bracelet has a loose fit and doesn’t sit too tight around your wrist.
For a bangle:
- Place your hand in the position of putting on a bangle.
- Use your piece of paper, thread or measuring tape and measure around the widest part of your hand including your thumb knuckle
ANKLET SIZING
You can measure your anklet in the same way you did for your bracelet. When wrapping a thread around your ankle, don’t pull it too tight, add a little bit to it as it should sit loose because if you start walking your ankle expands.
BELLY CHAINS
Wrap a thread or a measuring tape around your belly and choose the place on your belly where you would like your chain to sit. Some people like to place their belly chain under their navel while others like to place them higher up, above the navel. Make sure not to pull the tape too tight or leave it too loose.
NECKLACES
Either measure a necklace you already own or use a thread to find your preferred length. Some like to have their necklace sitting higher up than others.
For a choker style, choose a smaller size.
